The Survitec Group has rolled out a new business blueprint in their manufacturing site at Dunmurry, Belfast. The ‘Lean’ plan focuses on achieving operational excellence through the deployment of lean tools, systems and behaviours and in a relatively short period the Dunmurry site has seen rapid operational success. Gavin Gillespie, Business Improvement Manager at the Dunmurry site said, “We have come a long way in a short space of time by recognising the need for change and working together as a team at all levels of the business to achieve this.  For our customers this means we can deliver our quality goods quicker than ever before. Our goal going forward is to continue improving, empowering our workforce to achieve a world class manufacturing status.”
