Survitec Group Ranked 60 in Sunday Times Profit Track 100

Survitec Group Limited (Survitec), worldwide manufacturers and distributors for the marine, defence and aerospace survival technology industries, is pleased to announce achieving 60th place in The Sunday Times PwC Profit Track. Last year Survitec was ranked 91, so this represents a significant improvement in ranking within 12 months.

The Profit Track 100 league table ranks Britain's fastest-growing private companies by average profit growth over the last three years, and is highly regarded in the business community.  In the last year Survitec’s profits have risen to £30.7m, an increase of 56.22% over the last three years. Survitec Group traces its origins back to 1920 and now holds market-leading positions worldwide in marine, defence and aerospace survival technology. In 2010 the group was acquired by global private equity firm, Warburg Pincus and has since accelerated expansion of the group through both organic growth and acquisition. Recent acquisitions include Seaweather Marine in the UK, and also the commercial marine business of Revere in the USA. Just last week Survitec announced its plans to acquire the commercial liferaft business of Zodiac SOLAS.

Survitec CEO Doug Baxter commented: “This is an excellent achievement for Survitec to be recognised as one of Britain’s best performing private companies. I am very proud of our growth record which is a testament to the commitment of all our staff.  Our goal remains to take a lead in the marine and aerospace survival technology industries and we are working hard to develop the business further in the current market environment.”
